Morning all, happy Sunday. Yes, it’s my birthday, my 50th birthday, although I’m trying not to think about that too much. I’ve had a lovely time opening my cards & gifts & in response to requests from my fellow #PATWITS, here’s what I’ve received so far…………
From my sister & my niece:
Look! Brushos!!! I’m in love with Brushos, can’t wait to have a play. I’ve wanted the CD for ages & I’m thrilled with both books.
From my friend Jen:
Oh my! I’m going to have to dress up, aren’t I??!! And isn’t the card beautiful? It’s by Papyrus.
From my friend, Lisa, of Lisa B Designs:
Guess where all my PaperArtsy stamps will be going later?? And yes, I do plan on eating the entire box of chocolates myself.
Next, cards from my Twitter friends. These are without doubt, works of art. Every one is completely different & utterly gorgeous.
Firstly, Helen, @stampingbyh:
I think almost everything on this gorgeous card is from Lin Brown’s (@yoursartfully) designs for PaperArtsy; paints, stamps, dies, stencils.
Not only a gorgeous card from Lin but the lovely die cuts AND a set of resin birds from PaperArtsy. These birds are extremely rare, so I’m feeling very honoured right now. Thank you Lin!
From Emma, @pinksparklegirl:
Love the gorgeous colours & those paint splatters.
From Julie Ann @woletz1:
I saw this stunner on Julie Ann’s blog last week & I have to admit that I really, REALLY hoped it was for me. I keep stroking it……
From Hazel, @craftroomgran:
This is a gorgeous piece of mail art & it’s full of layers & textures. I love the Dina Wakely bird.
From Sam, @sam21ski:
Thrilled to get this from Sam, she knows I love the TH dragonfly & she’s water coloured it beautifully.
From Lesley, @Craftymamma2:
Such a beautiful & elegant card, the colouring on the flowers is perfect.
From Joanne, @jojoV79:
is a single layer card, but it looks so dimensional, with lots of layers.
From the Chocolate Baroque birthday card swap group:
Coloured beautifully, with lovely texture & splatters on the background papers.
From my friend & fellow Lisa B Designs DT member, Suzanne:
I love the faux stitching & the kraft card is perfect for the papers.
From Pat, mother of my friend Kelly:
Such a pretty card, very Spring-like. Pat got me started on card making, many moons ago.
From my friend, Diane:
Diane is not a card maker, but this is a hand made card, made by a crafter called Shirley, in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. If anyone knows Shirley, please tell her her card is gorgeous.
That’s it! Thank you so very much to all of you,for these beautiful works of art. I shall treasure them always.
