The Butterfly Project

The Holocaust Museum in Houston, Texas, USA is planning a major exhibition in 2012, to commemorate the 1.5 million children who died during the Holocast. The exhibition will take the form of 1.5 million butterflies – one for each child that died needlessly. The museum is asking for help from all us crafters, cardmakers & scrapbookers; they want us to make butterflies & send them to the museum. The only rules are that there must be NO glitter & the butterflies should be no bigger than 8″ x 10″. You can draw your own butterfly shapes or Dan has posted two templates that you can download, print & decorate any way you want.
