Tempus Fugit

Published November 10, 2011 by isisimaginings

Time does indeed appear to be flying past at the moment. I didn’t realise it was already a week since my last post. I have been busy making assorted cards & several other items, none of which I want to reveal just yet. Instead I will share a card that I made for a friend of a friend in the USA. The friend is a fan of The Beatles, so the card refers to songs they performed.

I printed the image on ordinary copy paper, covered it with Versamark & heat embossed it, using clear embossing powder. The car – I can’t remember where I got it from – is keeping the card closed. The patterned paper is a mix of sun & moon image
s & is from Hot Off The Press.

This is the inside. I used Scattered Straw & Antique Linen distress in
ks on the honeycomb stencil. The hands & ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign are 7 Gypsies stamps.

On the right side; a piece of cardstock embossed
with TH Texture Fades bark embossing folder, the bird is a Marianne Designs die-cut.

On the left side, a piece of Kanban’s Industriana paper, the 8D
is another 7 Gypsies stamp & the treble clefs were cut from Marianne Designs dies.

Do I need to explain the penny? 🙂 With luck, the recipient will enjoy working out the song titles.

Until next time, love & light.
