The Jewel Thief & Klimt

Published June 19, 2012 by isisimaginings

Hello blog visitors, I didn’t realise it’s been a while since I posted.  Here are my two tags for May in the Chocolate Baroque alphabet tag swap, J & K.

J is for ‘Jewel Thief.  I kept this very simple & used only the Spring distress inks, with layers of stamping.

K is for ‘Klimt-esque’.  I covered a chipboard tag with Viva’s Terra paste & stamped into it with one of CB’s Texture Fragments stamps.  When the Terra was dry, I painted it with Inka Gold paints, then used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add white dots.

I stamped the Texture Fragments window onto acetate with black Archival ink, attached it to the chipboard with a piece of ribbon & added the gems to the corners.

That’s it, two simple tags this month.  Thanks for looking.

  • It lost my comment! Anyhow……. love your use of the acetate as an overlay for the second one – very effective indeed. The jewel thief is a super idea & I love your lacey grass.
