PaperArtsy Challenge Special Edition

Published August 18, 2013 by isisimaginings

A good Sunday morning to one & all.  Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to visit my two blog pots last night & leave such kind comments, I appreciate them all very much.

I didn’t expect to be blogging this morning, but following a Twitter conversation last night, after Leandra, Mrs PaperArtsy herself, posted her Saturday Special video, some of us decided we were going to try to finish another project before noon today & boost the PaperArtsy challenge entries even further.

So, before going to bed last night, I put some grunge paste through a stencil, added some stamping & left it to dry overnight.

This morning I started painting with Frescos.  I used Eggplant, Lilac, Stone, Nougat, Guacamole, Inky Pool & Pumpkin Soup.

I added some stamping; the tiny circles from the JoFY 09 collection with Peacock Feathers distress ink & the mini script MN61 with black Archival.  I also added tiny amounts of White Fire Treasure Gold.

I stamped the Ink & The Dog stamps onto white card & painted them with Inky Pool & Pumpkin Soup & put them on a piece of Crunchy paper, which I’d brushed with Aquamarine TG.

Thank you to Leandra & Mark for these great videos, they’re so helpful.  Here’s to next Saturday’s!!

Now I’m going back to work on my ‘secret’ PaperArtsy project………

Love & light.

  • Wonderful piece using the video technique Kirsten. Love the colours and those wings look brilliant. I too love the videos because I need to revisit things every now and then or I forget about them, lol!
