PaperArtsy Challenge Inspired by Helen Chilton

Published August 31, 2013 by isisimaginings

Hello again, yep, the second post of the evening.

The 10th birthday celebrations are continuing over on the PaperArtsy blog & last Sunday, the amazing Helen Chilton posted this project.  I loved the colours & the two hearts, so I was very happy when a rummage through my stash revealed two wooden hearts.

I followed Helen’s instructions all the way through.  Here’s the front, love the crackle, but wishing I’d chosen a different image.

Here’s the back, LOVE how this turned out.  I used the Donna Downey hollyhock stencil to put the grunge paste through.

I’ve got another PaperArtsy piece to show you, but I’ll post that in the morning.  Thanks for looking, until then,

Love & light.

  • Oooh I love this, it jumped out at me when I went to upload mine. Actually I like both sides equally (why didn’t you like the first image?). I love that Hollyhock stencil and all the detail in the second side but they are both stunning!
