Here we are at Thursday already, I hope everyone’s having a great week. Thanks for the comments this week, you’re all very kind.
I’ve got a double page spread to show you this evening & again, it’s one of those where I had no clue where it was going. I tore up the music page left over when I made the Rhapsody in Blue tag for the Dragons Dream TIO challenge the other week & glued the scraps on. Then I added a layer of clear gesso – love the texture that gives! Next step was roughly painting on watered down Toffee & Caramel fresco paints. These are two of the new colours & they are gorgeous.
After that I forgot to take photos, but I just kept adding layers of stencilling with various frescos, including Claret, Spanish Mulberry & Hey Pesto.
I decided I’d use two more of the unused tags I have on my desk & when I’d decided on their placement I applied some grunge paste to the rest of the page through the Crafters Workshop reversed chicken wire stencil. When the GP was dry I rubbed tiny amounts of Ruby & White Fire treasure gold over it.
I stamped the La Blanche faces onto scraps of post-its & stuck them on the tags, stamped the ‘find the connection..’ etc. onto the page & added the arrows & some washi tape.
I think I like it………….
See you next time.
