PaperArtsy Challenge Inspired by Jo Myhill

Published October 6, 2013 by isisimaginings

A good Sunday morning to one & all.

All of us PaperArtsy fans were thrilled that Jo Myhill was this week’s guest designer on the PA blog. Jo’s work is always gorgeous, it’s full of layers & different textures & her three projects this week were no different. I was so impressed by all three that I took ideas from them all & combined them in one project.

Jo’s projects are here:

Here’s my piece. Jo’s posts are full of details & photographs so please see them for all the how-to’s. As I working through the various steps I thought I might make a Halloween project, but when I laid down the hearts I knew I had to use them.

I thought for a long time about putting a word, or a quote, on this, but I like it as it is.

Hopefully you can see some of the shine from the Treasure Gold on the letters.

Thanks so much to Jo for her beautiful work & for all the inspiration.

Until next time, love & light.

  • Totally agree, there were loads of fab techniques that Jo showed us this week. Love how you’ve combined some in your interpretation of Jo’s projects – gorgeous xxxx

  • I enlarged the pics and this looks terrific!!! I love the composition and the colours and the wonderful way you decorated the hearts. I would love to see this on display irl. I can imagine it in a really trendy little cafe somewhere in Highgate!!! Julie Ann xx

  • Wonderful take on Jo’s inspiration Kirsten. I love the hearts too. All the texture is gorgeous. I’m so annoyed that I ran out of time but DD’s birthday pressie came first 🙂
