The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas Part Two

Published October 8, 2013 by isisimaginings

Hello, here’s my second tag for the FJ 12 Tags Christmas challenge & again, I’ve copied Linda’s idea, which you can see HERE. I didn’t intend to, but her tag immediately reminded me of the gorgeous Damask Reindeer set by Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) & I had to use it.

Frayed Burlap distress ink & Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls spray is a GREAT combination. I just swiped the DI on my craft sheet, spritzed it with the PP spray & water, then dragged the card through it a few times, drying each time, until I was happy.

I stamped the image with Potting Soil Archival & added a little Glossy Accents to the moon, with a sprinkling of fine glitter on top. I wanted most of the background image to be seen, so I stamped the greeting onto a piece of vellum with black Stazon & glued it on. The tripled embossed snowflakes hide the glue underneath.

Thanks to Linda for the inspiration & for organising the challenge. It’s sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique & you can find all the information HERE.

Until next time, love & light.

  • Fantastic background and I have to say that these new WV archival pads are growing on me, might need to make a purchase as I love how the potting soil has come out on your fabulous tag,

  • Oh my, this is totally totally gorgeous! I love the background and all the wonderful texture. The reindeer is sensational too. I so wish I could see a close up of it! Fabulous to have you along with us this year for the 12 tags challenge. Thanks so much for playing along!

    Hugs,
    Linda

  • This is gorgeous! I’m off to look at your others now. And the snow on your blog is so pretty. I’ve just started this challenge. I’m on my third one so I’m really behind! Don’t know if I’ll get 12 done! Julie Ann xx
