Boo! Hope you’re all having a spooky-licious day. I’d like to show you a journal page I made for the new monthly challenge on the Sprinkle of Imagination blog. This month the challenge is to use a selection of colours & you can see them HERE.
This is a page I had previously gessoed – while the gesso was wet I’d accidentally closed the pages, so I got some lovely texture when I opened them again.
I spritzed water on the pages, then sprayed with Dylusions inks; Fresh Lime, Pure Sunshine & Squeezed Orange.
Then I got stuck in with layers of stencilling (Crafters Workshop, Imagination Crafts) with fresco paints, followed by stamping.
Here’s the finished page. I gave the PaperArtsy head a body from a Dylusions stamp & used Snowflake fresco through the Andy Skinner skull stencil on black card. The trees are a Wendy Vecchi stencil, the birds a PA die, the cat a Tim Holtz die & the bunting is from a Lynne Perella PA stamp (stamped with Snowflake fresco onto card sprayed with Crushed Grape Dylusions).
Thanks for visiting. See you next time.
