Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas Week Ten

Published December 19, 2013 by isisimaginings

Hello, here I am with my tenth card for the Funkie Junkie challenge. You can see Linda’s gorgeous tag HERE, I was inspired by her background, the frame & the bow.

This card got me using my diffusers for, I’m ashamed to say, probably only the second time. I really like the effect they give, so I shall have to remember to use them more often. I used a Crafter’s Workshop stencil in the centre & a Cuttlebug embossing folder around the outside, with a PaperArtsy mini script stamp.

I initially covered the frame with silver glitter, but it looked terrible, so I added silver stickles on top – much better.

I used the Memory Box snowflake die again for the centre, cutting a piece of Dusty Concord core’dinations, which I covered in clear crackle paint, followed by Star Dust stickles. I heat embossed the word with silver EP & finished with the bow & brad.

Typically, I got the challenge details wrong in last night’s post, so for all the correct details go HERE on the FJ blog. Thank you once again to Linda for the inspiration & to the Funkie Junkie Boutique for sponsoring the challenge.

I shall be back tomorrow with card number 11, see you then.

  • That snowflake looks very different here – love the JOY in the middle of this one. I think Silver Stickles is one of my favourites – very versatile & amazing how these little bottles of glittery glue change things.
