Christmas Bits and Pieces

Published December 24, 2013 by isisimaginings

Well, we made it. It’s Christmas Eve & if it’s not done by now, it doesn’t matter. As usual, I ran out of time & most of the projects I wanted to make didn’t happen. And I’ve decided that’s not going to happen again. Anyway, here are a few things to show you.

Some chipboard baubles decorated with papers, die cuts, glitter & ribbons.

A very simple snow globe. Not a great photo, you can’t see the glitter I added to the snow.

Finally, an unfinished journal page, made with gold texture paste & Dylusions stamps. This was supposed to be quick & simple page, but I ended up messing around with it for ages – I would be embarrassed to tell you how many times I drew bows, attempting to get them right. In the end I decided they were acceptable & gave up on the rest of the page, just cut it in half & stuck it to the pages of my Frida journal. Maybe I’ll come back to it at some stage.

Xmas 13

Al that remains is for me to wish you all the happiest of Christmases & I’ll see you on the other side.

  • Well you did better than I did Kirsten! The baubles are beautiful but the snow globe is gorgeous. What a fab idea! The journal pages turned out great after all your trials, lol.
I hope the weather has calmed down and behaves itself so your Christmas is peaceful as well as happy with a bit of fun thrown in somewhere too.

  • I think I’m going to try joining in the CB Christmas Card Group next year – think that’s going to have to be my solution. I love your baubles best of all but would never have dreamt of making a snow globe – a bit too adventurous for me. As always your journal pages are intriguing & I like your bows!
