Kate Crane Workshop at The Artistic Stamper

Published October 31, 2014 by isisimaginings

Today I fulfilled an ambition I’ve had ever since I discovered art journaling – I wanted to attend a Kate Crane workshop. Seven/eight months ago when we heard she would be at The Artistic Stamper in Kent, my friend Georgina & I rushed to book a place & then waited impatiently. Today was the day & these are are my journal pages……………….

They’re not quite finished, I have to add the journaling,  but I’m really pleased with them.

I used  all sorts of colouring media, including PaperArtsy Fresco paints, Claudine Hellmuth & Amsterdam acrylics & oil pastels. The stencilling on the page above is t, designed by Georgina.

It was a thrill to meet Kate at last, she is just as lovely as I thought she would be. Thank you so much to her for sharing her vast knowledge & for all the inspiration. Thanks too to Jennie & Mal for their hospitality & for keeping us fed & watered throughout the day.
