Hello! Yes I know, it’s been quite a while. There just aren’t enough hours in the day at the moment. For the last four weeks I’ve been trying to think of something to make for the current Sprinkle of Imagination challenge & came up with nothing, so tonight I decided to made a Christmas card & I’ll just get it entered in time.
I’ve said before that I’m rubbish at putting colours together & I can never tell if they clash, so colour challenges are a great learning tool for me & I plan on doing more next year. For this challenge I decided that Peeled Paint & Pumice Stone distress inks & a sheet of core’dinations in a shade called ‘Bermuda’ were the closest to three of the challenge colours. I used off white card stock, so the only colour I didn’t use was the Robin Egg Blue.
I used Brushed Pewter distress stain directly over the Peeled Paint background.
The baubles were stamped with Pumice Stone DI & embossed with a clear, sparkly embossing powder.
I used Patina & Pumice Stone distress stickles, ribbons, silver embossing powder & brads as accents & embellishments.
Thanks for visiting, I plan on posting a lot more in the coming days. Until next time,
Love & light.
